Finally got my driveshaft fixed, sharing my experience with the shop I used
So I had been dealing with a nasty vibration and clunk on my 2017 Grand Cherokee for almost a month and kept putting off getting it looked at because I was worried about the cost. I tried a local garage first but they just told me it was probably tyres and balanced them, which didn't help at all. Then I started searching online and found a reliable driveshaft repair shop in Mussafah that had good reviews from other Jeep owners, so I decided to give them a try. They put it on the lift, showed me the worn center bearing and a slightly bent shaft, and replaced it with a new one. The whole thing took about half a day and the price was fair, not cheap but not dealer crazy either. The vibration is completely gone and the clunk too, and honestly I should have done it sooner.
